Brookline Adult and Child Counseling
Offering in person and telehealth psychotherapy to children, families and adults in Massachusetts and New York
Our approach
We provide individual and family therapy to support people with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, adhd, trauma, dysregulation in childhood, defiance, school refusal and difficult family dynamics.
We are a diverse group of clinicians who practice in a variety of ways. We are informed by psychodynamic principles. This means that we believe that relationships matter and that our past helps to form who we are today. We also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) into our practices, as we teach skills to help our clients manage difficult feelings and behavior. When meeting with children and families we work to strengthen family relationships and provide parenting advice, including behavior modification techniques.
Our Mission:
At BACC we offer an inclusive and accepting space. We stand against racism, antisemitism and islamophobia, and we proudly affirm the trans and queer community. Our mission is to provide compassionate and evidence based therapy, celebrating the unique identities and experiences of every individual.
