Alexis is a third-year clinical psychology doctoral intern. She believes in meeting clients where they’re at, and her approach to therapy involves a combination of warmth, humor, curiosity, and humility. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Alexis believes therapy is a collaborative process and enjoys working with clients to create treatment goals that are meaningful to them.

Alexis primarily works from a psychodynamic, relational lens that prioritizes the therapeutic relationship while drawing from other modalities, including DBT, CBT, and ACT. Her clinical interests include personality disorders, complex trauma, bipolar disorder, chronic illness, and body-focused repetitive behaviors.

In her free time, Alexis loves to read, crochet, and spend time with her black cat, Moose.
