Peri is a master’s level therapist who strives to create a comfortable and safe environment for individual growth and support. A positive therapeutic relationship is vital to her, and she is looking forward to working with you! She specializes in working with adolescents and young adults, as well as parents of young children, caregivers seeking personal growth, and families facing life changes in a parent coaching setting. She especially enjoys working with people seeking support for life transitions, entering “adulthood”, anxiety, depression, self confidence, identity development, depression, burnout, ADHD, and behavioral/emotional concerns in children/adolescents.

She received her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University with a major in Human Development and Family Studies and a double minor in Counseling and Youth Development. She then received her Master’s in Counseling from Boston University with a co-concentration in School Counseling and Child/Adolescent Mental Health Counseling. She has worked with children and adolescents for over 10 years in child development, school, and day camp settings. She worked as a school counselor in elementary and middle school settings in Brookline, MA and Arlington, VA throughout her education and career. She now works in private practice supporting predominantly adolescents and young adults.

Peri is a Person-Centered clinician and truly strives to create a strong and encouraging relationship with her clients. She likes to utilize other therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness practices.
