She/her, They/them

Aruni is in their third year pursuing a doctoral degree in clinical psychology at William James College. They have experience working in group homes, inpatient mental health and intensive outpatient programs, and school settings working with individuals across the lifespan. Aruni is particularly passionate about providing a culturally affirming space for all clients, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals.

Their therapeutic approach is driven by collaboration, authenticity, and compassion. They strive to create a genuine, safe, and supportive space where you can explore your experiences with depth and openness. Aruni draws from relational, psychodynamic, and skills-based approaches, including CBT and DBT, grounded in current research while maintaining focus on you as a whole, unique individual.

In your work together, Aruni aims to support you in gaining deeper insight into your emotions, recurring patterns in your life, the choices you make, and your relationships (including the one with yourself). By creating a trusting, nonjudgemental space, you will work together to explore your history and the ways you think, feel, and behave as steps towards living a life that feels authentic to your values and goals.
