Jill is a third year Clinical PsyD student who earned her Masters degree in professional psychology at William James College. Jill completed her Bachelors degree in psychology at Union College with additional minors in sociology and gender, sexuality, and women’s studies. Jill has worked with children and parents in an in-home therapy setting and young adults in a college setting, as well as brief volunteer work on a sexual assault hotline. She has experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Jill particularly enjoys exploring topics related to gender identity, sex, and sexuality. She has additional interests in OCD and body image challenges.

Jill takes a warm and direct approach to counseling informed by feminist psychotherapy and strengths based approaches. She utilizes various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing. Jill values building relationships with clients founded on trust and safety and helping clients gain confidence, emotion regulation skills, insight, and empowerment.
