He/him
As a 4th Year Clinical PsyD student at William James College, Taylor believes that personal struggle and suffering take many shapes not always categorized by singular labels or diagnoses. He has been well trained in integrating numerous evidence-based therapies but prioritizes the patient’s personal journey and priorities. Taylor believes that many common symptoms—depression, anxiety, panic—are the product of relational, existential, cultural, and societal struggles. He employs techniques such as insight-building talk therapy, mind-body techniques, clinical hypnosis, and expressive arts therapy. The purpose of this work is to encourage emotion regulation, interpersonal growth, self-exploration, and authentic being.
Taylor’s therapeutic presence can be described as calming, curious, and appropriately challenging. Regarding experience, he has worked with many people with OCD, eating disorders, depressive disorders, relationship struggles, life transitions and crises, and traumatic experiences. He is passionate about treating people of all ages, gender and sexual identities, and cultural backgrounds. He treats every therapeutic relationship as unique, personal, and rewarding—and he looks forward to sharing in your story and helping you get unstuck in life.
